See "Ascot Aftermath" post for Ascot races.

At Warwick Miss Pelling got off the mark for the season. This came on the back of two solid efforts so far and there could be more to come from here throughout the season.

At Leicester, Mattamia continued to progress, running away with the 7.10. He has been a real money spinner for the yard this year and is improving all the time.

Garter Knight was a real dark horse on the list and I was surprised to see him lining up in the seller 7.40. He looked all over the winner but was out-battled in a finish. Micky Fenton could've been stronger perhaps so I will give the horse another chance in this grade, or off his lenient mark in handicap.

Coltswold ran flat in the 8.10 and hasn't progresses as expected.

That'll Do Nicely travelled well in the 7.00 Musselburgh but failed to pick up.

Ainia looked a handicap good thing for the 7.30, she did the business after being backed from 6/4 into 4/5. Although the winning margin wasn't huge I wouldn't rule out more success.
