Level or thereabouts today, depending on prices taken.
Based on official ratings, Shaylee had it to do in the Carlisle claimer and 2.45. However I wasn't certain how reliable many of the OR's were and thought she was over priced at double figure odds. She came off the bit fairly early but stayed on well late on for a place. She should find a race over slightly further.
Off Chance's last run at York was best ignored and hated the soft ground. Back on a faster surface here she made her lenient handicap mark pay. She was value for more than the winning margin suggests.
In the sprint at 3.45, Half A Crown lost all when hampered twice in the first two furlongs.
Secret Society ran away with the 7.40 at Thirsk, benefiting for the drop in trip. Seldom never looked happy and failed to act on the turns and/or the firm going.
La Zamora got no run in the 8.40. She would have gone close with a clear run and looks on a fair mark.
Saturn Way was heavily eased after getting slightly hampered in the 6.55 at Windsor. Sullenberger ran with promise on his first start for over two months, there are races to be won with him. Howard (4th) ran his best race to date and will start to fulfill his potential now.
Gloucester took advantage of a lenient flat rating in the last.
